Hinirang ngayong Lunes ng Kapulungan ng mga Kinatawan, na pinamumunuan ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez si Rep. Faustino “Inno” Dy (6th District, Isabela) bilang Chairperson ng Espesyal na Komite ng Bases Conversion.
Sa ilalim ng kanyang pamumuno, tatalakayin ng Komite ang, “all matters directly and principally relating to policies and programs relating to bases conversion, the operation of special economic zones in former military bases, sale of military camps and disposition of proceeds thereof, relocation of military camps and personnel, and the construction of new military camps.”
Samantala, inaprubahan ng Kapulungan sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ang House Bill 3968 na gagawing component city ang Munisipalidad ng Carmona sa Cavite, na kikilalanin bilang Carmona City.
Ang hybrid na sesyon ngayong araw ay pinangunahan nina Deputy Speakers Kristine Singson-Meehan at Camille Villar.
