PAGTATAYO NG MGA REGIONAL OFFICE SA LAHAT NG REHIYON SA BUONG BANSA, TARGET NG DMW

Target ng Department of Migrant Workers na magtayo ng regional offices sa lahat ng rehiyon sa buong bansa.

Ayon kay DMW Usec. Maria Anthonette Velasco-Allones, tatlong malalaking regional offices ang itatayo sa NCR, Cebu at Davao na mayroon 101 na empleyado

Mayroon din medium offices na may 91 na personnel at small regional offices na may 41 na tauhan.

Bunsod nito, made-decentralize na aniya ang serbisyo para sa mga OFW.

“We will establish regional offices in all the regions. So there will be 3 large regional offices in ncr, region 7 in cebu and region 11 in davao. There are medium size regional offices in the car  reg 1 calabarzon and another region in the Visayas and then the rest po ay considered small regions. pero yung small po ay may 41 personnel yung medium ay may 61 personnel at yung malalaking regions ay 96. so maganda po ito madedecentralize po yung services.” Ani allones.

Kasabay nito ay tiniyak ni Usec. Allones na hindi madi-displace o mawawalan ng trabaho ang mga empleyado ng attached agencies ng DOLE na mapapasailalim na ngayon sa DMW.

Katunayan, nasa 1728 na posisyon ang inaprubahan ng DBM para sa ahensya.

Aabot naman ng 700 mahigit ang kasalukuyang empleyado ng ia-absorb na mga ahensya, kaya’t lahat sila ay tiyak na may trabaho at may 800 higit pa na kailangan punan.

“Walang displacement na mangyari. So we assure you po that we will adhere to the provisions of ra 6656 which is the reorganization law  in rolling out the placement of our existing personnel so all the merged agencies we will take care po of their respective employees. Under the approved OSSP we were givne by dbm a total of 1728 positions. Ang kasalukuyang pong nasa position na warm bodies is about 700 so kahit maplace na poi naming silang lahat, may balansa pa pong 800 plus na pwedeng punan.” Dagdag ni Allones.
